Hello there I have an idea of a File Organizer app, to organize tons of files on your HDDs. Amongst its features is file searching, so i thought i'd use Google Desktop Search for that part of the app (something like these guys did http://www.trietech.com/gdstools.php ) Oh and i'm also trying to keep it OS-Independant (like GDS itself, Win/ Mac/Linux). I program in C++ using Visual Studio 2008
Can anyone give me some pointers as to how do i tap into Google Desktop Search from within my C++ app? I tried reading some stuff from the Search API pages online but couldn't figure it out... lots of HTML / XML / JavaScript / whatnot stuff all over the place, while i'm best familiar with C++. How did those guys from Halftone (link above) do it? Thanks in advance! --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google Desktop Developer Group" group.
