I use Scintilla Text Editor (SciTe) to write my gadgets and the build- in windows ftp to upload the gadgets to my webspace to test them. if you're desperate enough, you can even use notepad. But a text editor geared more towards html-development would be recommended. Google for "texteditor html". Pick one. Testing gadgets is a much bigger problem. Gadgets can only be run inside a gadget container. You can either do a (more or less) "public" testing by uploading your gagdet and running it inside your real iGoogle (or embedded in an iGoogle container on your website --> syndication) or you have to set up your own test environment complete with webserver and gagdet container. (IIRC "shinding" is the name of one) Feel free to contact me if you have more questions. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "iGoogle Developer Forum" group.
