I have seen a few references to the "Gadget Dashboard":
http://code.google.com/igoogle/dashboard/?hl=en

Somewhere (in one of googles few dozen chaotic pages about gadgets
which all contain different but always only incomplete parts of the
whole puzzle) is mentioned to publish an iGoogle gadget one must
first add it to the Dashboard. This dashboard is empty for me,
although I have already submitted my gadget to the directory (or how
this is called), have it running on my own iGoogle page where it is
running without problems.

But I cannot find any explanation about what this dashboard is all
about. And I cannot verify whether my gadget is actually included in
the directory now because somewhere else in this chaotic documentation
it mentiones that one cannot search for ones own gadgets if they are
already on the own iGoogle page.

My dashboard is completely empty and there is not even a short
sentence explaining what this dashboard is meant to be or how to add
stuff.
