http://code.google.com/apis/gadgets/docs/legacy/publish.html#PageCreator
There is a form to fill in my gadget url and then click "Syndicate" (whatever that means in Google Land, I cannot asociate what happens when I click this button to what is officially defined as "Syndication" when I look up this term in Wikipedia), when I click this button it brigs me to something that rather looks like a gadget preview page: http://www.gmodules.com/ig/creator?synd=open&url=http://hosting.gmodules.com/ig/gadgets/file/113359594954309263557/rss.xml but it does not work. The preview wont work. It will display the static HTML but no JavaScript will run, the gadget wont work. Also the javascript button to add it to my own iGoogle page and also the gadget editor's publish -> add to own iGoogle page does not work, it will not even show an error message, it simply won't do anything -> very bad UI, Google. You could do this better. Then at the top of this page there is a link "Weitere Informationen zu diesem Gadget" (Google is constantly forcing its stupid unwanted localization upon me and I can't turn it off, roughly translated it means something like "additional information for this gadget"), When I click it it directs me here: http://www.google.com/ig/directory?synd=open&url=http://hosting.gmodules.com/ig/gadgets/file/113359594954309263557/rss.xml "Sorry, * http://hosting.gmodules.com/ig/gadgets/file/113359594954309263557/rss.xml*is unavailable. Please try another result." which is an outright lie because if I click on that link it will happily show me the xml of my gadget and it also works on my iGoogle page so it surely is available.
