I will have to  check. It's an offsite machine... at somebody else's
home and we are having blizzard warnings tomorrow after 8" snow last
night and more starting in  the morning.

Just to be clear: the Thunderbird email comes up and it even  lists
the photos file name in the body of the message... everything is
"normal" except there is no picture attached. So not sure why this
setting would make a difference, but I'm lost so maybe that setting
difference would result in  actually attaching the  picture and not
just setting up an email filled out with everything except attaching
the actual picture?

Thx for the hint.  If there is anything else you  can think of in
advance, I'd appreciate it.
