Hi, Group- Not sure if this is the right forum, but here goes!
I'd like to make a request for a future release of Picasa for Linux. When importing directly from a camera, please leave the image filenames alone. This is the current behavior when importing from a card reader, and would be greatly preferred when importing directly from the camera, too. Perhaps there's a reason someone would prefer all their camera- imported images to be named "imagexxx.jpg", but I just can't imagine why. It creates inconsistency in file naming, and if one of Picasa's main purposes is to be a photo organizer, this behavior undermines that goal. Thanks for listening! -Mark --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google-Labs-Picasa-for-Linux" group.
