It would be nice if we were able to choose the file-naming convention. I load from a card-reader and, as part of the process, change the filenames to the exif date-time: yyyymmdd-hhmmss.jpg. If I wish to add extra filename information I add it thusly: yyyymmddJohnParty.jpg. Never any filename duplication except what I choose to do myself for archival purposes and I can sort by name and get them in chronological order no matter how much editing I do! Others want something different. Why can't we all have it all? -- Cheers, Bev ************************************************* Never argue with a woman holding a torque wrench. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google-Labs-Picasa-for-Linux" group.
