Ubuntu plans to bundle Shotwell photo manager in its next release, 10.10. I downloaded, installed and am now trying it out. So far it looks very impressive and is native linux too! Google miss the boat, they should have worked at getting Picasa included in on Ubuntu's standard release. It is even open source!
