...in Picasa is the ability to correct perspective as well as 'straighten' photos. It seems like every picture I take has a vertical line SOMEWHERE that looks crappy when I use the shortest focal length, which it turns out is what I do mostly. I could pass the photo to gimp, but that's an unpleasant undertaking.

Come on, guys, how hard could it be?

BTW, changing the name of your photos from IMG_6034 to 20100708-125243.jpg (the EXIF date) with jhead is a REAL time-saver. I don't use tags, just the dates. I figure if I can't figure out roughly when I took the picture I'm looking for I don't really need it anyway :-)
