I have no substantial knowledge, but after install picasa 3.0 for
linux doing the step-by-step tutorial of the download page, I've got
this from synaptics package manager:

Failed to fetch http://dl.google.com/linux/deb/dists/stable/Release
Unable to find expected entry non-free/source/Sources in Meta-index
file (malformed Release file?)
Failed to fetch http://dl.google.com/linux/deb/dists/testing/Release
Unable to find expected entry non-free/source/Sources in Meta-index
file (malformed Release file?)
Some index files failed to download, they have been ignored, or old
ones used instead.

As far as I'm concerned, I'm not the only one, however no solutions
for dummies like me yet.

Any suggestions in order to solve this?
