Hi all,
as I am creating an application, which is based entirely on google
maps (actually it is only one map :) ) I came across the need of
showing paths on my map. The administrator of the site (later on when
it is published) will create paths using google earth, for example,
and the paths have to be loaded on the map. So I searched about some
help on loading directly KML files on my map. I found different
examples, but I cannot make them work.
1. http://imagine-it.org/google/flashmaps/KMLParser/KMLParser.html
2.
http://gmaps-utility-library-flash.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/examples/KMLParser/bin-release/KMLParser.html

in both there is an "import" statement of a KML parser (kml22) which I
am not able to add to my app at all. I'm getting an error message:

1172: Definition com.google.maps.extras.xmlparsers.kml could not be
found.

so... what should I do to make some use of the possibilities of kml?
On the other hand i could make my own xml parser just for the use I am
interested in (adding paths). But is it better this way, or the kml is
better?

Thank you in advance.
Have a nice day.
