Greetings, all. Does Google maps API provide any way to convert longitude and latitude coordinates into x,y values of any sort?
I have a custom map graphic of the USA which, as far as the projection, looks something like this: http://www.qsl.net/g3yrc/radio-online/USA/usa-map.gif And I need to plot points on it based on longitude/latitude values. I realize that google APIs are more geared towards embedding a google map, not overlaying data on a custom map, but the math of converting long/lat to x/y has me very lost, and it seems there must be a service/ library to do this already? Thanks for any help! - Aaron -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google Maps API For Flash" group. To post to this group, send email to [email protected].
