Shaun, thanks for your reply. I tried your suggestion and still get the same result.
I'm testing off of local debug but this isn't an issue when debugging or running the application. The issue is in design view which I guess isn't the biggest deal but when our customers using our extended Map component see that message while designing their applications, they may think something is wrong etc. I may have found a workaround though.
