Ah, now I've caught up on the multiple thread (but why?!)

You may want to point whoever codes your page to -
   http://econym.org.uk/gmap/Geo.htm
and add some code to do something sensible if the geocoding fails (it
always will, sooner or later) rather than show a map of Palo Alto

'Something sensible' could include checking other geocoders.

Or you could add a facility so that whoever enters the site
information in the first place is given an opportunity to mark it on
the map themselves.  It seems to me that new developmenst are are
often going to run into this issue?
