Hello, I would like to create a grid in Google Maps, in order for people to select a single square and pop up some additional info. I've tried to create a grid by using epoly class. I only got to 25 by 25 pieces to have the browser still display it decently. When exceeding 25 by 25 pieces the script refuses to load. I need to cover quite a big area. Eventually there will be approx. 70.000 pieces to be displayed.
My question is: is there any other way to display such an amount of pieces to work properly on an average computer. Maybe there is a smart solution to display the pieces all at once, or more at every zoomlevel, keeping the ability to pan through the application. Does anyone know a solution for this rather tricky problem? --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google Maps API" group.
