I'm using the Google Maps API within my web page. I put in the latitude and longitude for two points. When I get my distance in miles i'm not sure if it is a stright line from point A to point B or is it the actual road distance from the two points?
When I put the two address i'm checking in Google Maps I get a different distance then what the API gives me. Is Google using the Road distance since it's a greater number and the API showing the actual distance?
