Hello everybody! I wish to thank all of you who have helped me directly by answering my questions and all others who participate on the building of this wonderful knowledge database. Thanks to you I got 9.5 out of 10 in my Computer Engineering final work.The application I have developed is now part of the services offered by my company BrodTec (http:// brodtec.com) and it can be accessed at http://www.mapzoom.com.br - note this is a concept sandbox representing an application for real state agencies. By using MapZoom people looking for an apartment or a house can find it accordingly to the desired characteristics. For instance, a young couple with kids may want a house close to at least one school and a club or a park. MapZoom will help with this.
The system was developed using PostGIS, so it will return precise information when handling polygons.
