I agree that taking the time to make a link available is important if
you're trying to get something that is broken fixed. That only thing I
would say is that sometimes a question is just a question--someone
just wants a bit of direction and doesn't need any debugging. For
example:

I don't think that would need a link--just a question about having a %-
sized map div. It's quite possible to do, but some help from the group
can make it easier to solve.

I just think a blanket "always provide a link" is too extreme--though
the posting guidelines shouldn't change, since the problem is more
often no link posted when one is needed than people complaining about
no link when one isn't needed.
