Maybe I got some questionable advice, or maybe I misunderstood. But basically what I wanted to do was to have a live link to my webpage of my mapplet, but one that was not a simple link to a window showing the markers, rather links on a page that are clicked, of which "hotlink" to the markers on that mapplet. which means I'd only ever have to change my mapplet and the links on the website would change too.
Here is my site now, you can see that the links are "hardcoded": http://www.projectmio.com/clockwork6.html and so would you say that it would be possibly to turn those links into ones that go directly to markers on my mapplet, thus not need to be updated map wise.
