So looking further into this, I see that in IE8 I get the following error:
Message: HTML Parsing Error: Unable to modify the parent container element before the child element is closed (KB927917) Line: 0 Char: 0 Code: 0 URI: http://mouser.org/cgi-bin/flight/convert-cgi.pl?20090803-SAF-SAF-2 And when I look up KB927917, it takes me here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/927917 and tells me that "the easiest way for you to fix the problem is to upgrade to Internet Explorer 8. This problem no longer occurs in Internet Explorer 8." Nice. I used MSIE 8.0.6001.18702 to retrieve this error. I checked the page with the W3C's HTML validator and it comes back clean. And since it works in Firefox, Opera, and Safari on windows, macs, and linux boxen... I'm willing to claim not my fault on this one. MSIE still has problems with standards compliance and I'm not going to put much effort into kludging my code to make it work for them. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google Maps API" group.
