Still not working today.. this is very frustrating. I tried out some other Google examples and they are not working either: http://code.google.com/apis/maps/documentation/examples/geocoding-simple.html says "1600 Amphitheatre Pky, Mountain View, CA not found" and http://code.google.com/apis/maps/documentation/examples/geocoding-extraction.html still gives the infamous "Sorry, we were unable to geocode that address"
As I said last week, I've checked all the servers in the javascript to make sure we are not blocking access on our network, so it seems like something is wrong on Google's end. If I go through an http proxy, the links above work fine. Maybe they are blocking certain IP blocks from using the maps API? I can use http://maps.google.com with no problems, only the API is failing. please help! :( On Oct 30, 11:31 am, ehierhager <[email protected]> wrote: > After some more investigation, I'm not getting a status code of 620 > (too many queries), but a status code 500: unknown failure. > > All of the code on my end is exactly the same, was working fine last > night and I came into today and am getting these errors.. > > Any suggestions? --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google Maps API" group.
