This is it! So simple. I was really annoyed that there should be no
way to use the free-to-use Google Earth regularly without paying a
horrendous fee.

Of course, it now takes very long to load the KML for the first time,
but I just need to save it afterwards from within Google Earth, so
that the newly calculated coordinates are saved together with the
addresses.
