I would strongly recommend you do it anyway. Geocoding is expensive in
terms of time and server processing, and you share Google's resources
with others -- it's bad practice to hog them if you don't need to.
John's page is actually a good UI: it provides immediate feedback to
the user, as well as ensuring that the data you store is exactly right.
