Yes, without the asterisks. If you use a browser to visit http://www.google.com/url?sa=D&q=http://code.google.com/apis/maps/documentation/staticmaps/%23EncodedPolylines and use 'view source' in your browser you can see examples of enc being used > if i use javascript will this be able show the polygon?? I don't know. Thousands of people can, but like Static Maps, it all depends how you use it.
