I've noticed today that the maps provided in the API V2 are more out of date than the maps in V3. There were several highways added that don't show up in our site and this is of major concern because they are for business locations. Is there a way for V2 to use the V3 map source or our we going to have to perform a full upgrade just to get recent maps. I can't believe V2 and V3 is pulling from different data sources. You can see the difference in the link below. The US 54 expressway doesn't exists when loaded from the V2 API.
The difference appears to be the lyrs querystring shown here: V3 http://mt1.google.com/vt/lyrs=m@169289506&hl=en&x=7949&s=&y=12624&z=15&s=Galileo V2 http://mt0.google.com/vt/lyrs=m@169000000&hl=en&src=api&x=7950&s=&y=12624&z=15&s=Ga I would hate to use JQuery to replace the lyrs attribute. I need a way for V2 to request the most up to date layer. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google Maps API V2" group.
