No, you can't change the tiles v2 is using to the ones v3 is using. The v2 API is deprecated and will be turned off in the future. Instead of trying to hack around the tiles in v2 to make them the same as v3, maybe you should instead the effort just converting to v3. Converting isn't that hard, and the benefits make it worthwhile (for example: you'll have the tiles you want!)
