Mike, thanks for the information.  Just FYI - when I added &showall to the 
URL, it did add more photos to my RSS feed.  Then when I took it away 
again, it reduced it back to the original (incorrectly fewer) number.  I 
could repeat that process and it would always return the same, a couple of 
additional photos when &showall was added, and the same fewer photos when 
it was removed.

Now today, it doesn't appear to make a difference whether or not the 
&showall is included - and as you said it was in a thread relating to 
something else, so perhaps the fact that it made a difference in my results 
was just some sort of coincidence.

Ude - if the tag search URL is working correctly, it returns about 20 
images.  Today, the same URL is returning just 4 images.  Regardless of 
whether or not I refresh it (I have many times), change the parameter 
ordering, etc.

Thank you to all who are looking into the issue, I think the 
picasaweb/Google+ API and photo service shows huge promise, and pending we 
can work out a few of these issues, I truly feel that it can replace huge 
services like Flickr very effectively.
