I'm using Google App Engine (Python) tasks to write data updates into a Google spreadsheet (with the Python GData lib). Worked mostly with-out issues for a few months. Meanwhile, the sheet has 8900 rows (max col: 28).
Now, for a few hours, every attempt to retrieve the list-feed from this sheet in the spreadsheet and write into it, fails with this error: *Deadline exceeded while waiting for HTTP response from URL:https://spreadsheets.google.com/feeds/list/MY_SPREADSHEET_KEY/o9frhj9/private/* I have not changed permissions to the file or sheet, neither did I change the sequence of worksheets or their names. I is it possible that URL patterns have changed recently or that the sheet hit some Google Apps or API restrictions? Or did deadline settings change in Google Apps or for HTTP requests in AppEngine tasks? I ask this because it seems that the error occurs only 4 or 5 seconds after the original request, according to logs, and I'm pretty sure that earlier (successful) requests sometimes took much longer than that. -- HATZIS Edelstahlbearbeitung GmbH Hojen 2 87490 Haldenwang (Allgäu) Germany Handelsregister Kempten (Allgäu): HRB 4204 Geschäftsführer: Paulos Hatzis, Charalampos Hatzis Umsatzsteuer-Identifikationsnummer: DE 128791802 GLN: 42 504331 0000 6 http://www.hatzis.de/ -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google Spreadsheets API" group.
