I can confirm that there definitely appears to be a problem with google talks server-to-server setup as of this morning our time (UTC +2) I'm the admin of a university based server (Openfire 3.4.4) The symptoms are:
1) Our server is able to connect to the gtalk servers ans send status updates etc 2) We see no connections incoming from the gtalk servers 3) Users on our end can't see their gtalk contacts online 4) their contacts see them as being online but can't message them 5) Gtalk is the only service we federate with that seems to be affected (but gtalk is 84% of out ecternal contacts!) 6) Tests from other services (e.g. jabber.org don't seem to reproduce it) David Horwitz University of Cape Town --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "google-talk-open" group.
