For me, the most useful thing about Google Translate was the ability
to compare texts side by side. I am learning French, and I would paste
in a French article, translate into English, but then read the French
text, and look at the translation when I would get stuck (or after I
had finished a paragraph to ensure that my understanding was correct).
Removing the side-by-side functionality is a SERIOUS loss to the
program. There at least needs to be an OPTION to present the texts
side by side.As well, as good as Google Translate is, it's not
perfect, and having the texts side by side allows you to figure out
what is going on when you run into an awkward phrase or sentence.
Please restore as quickly as possible.
