Hello,

They didn't stop supporting the Cyrillic alphabet, they just added one
more way of typing. Typing in Cyrillic is still available; but
additionally, if you have the option checked, you can type any of the
words in the Latin form to get it automatically (after hitting space)
turned into Cyrillic form. It's just in case your current keyboard
doesn't have the letters you need (for instance, on a shared
computer).
Just test.
