Hi Matt, I'm not 100% clear on the problem you're having, but it sounds like you may be translating some Chinese characters that we don't have a good translation for (sometimes a person or places name), in which the best translation we can give is a transliteration of the characters, i.e., writing in English how the Characters would sound in Chinese (this will be pretty close to pinyin).
If you can give me specific translations you're finding problematic I can look into it further.
