It has come to my attention that Google translate is being a biased
and inaccurate when translating French language pages concerning Tarot
cards. Some pages containing the phrase "tarot divinatoire" are
wrongly translated as simply "tarot" The word "divinatory" should
appear in the English version of the text but it does not.

Below are examples:

French language Wikipedia
http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tarot_divinatoire

Amazon.fr
http://www.amazon.fr/Tarot-divinatoire-tirage-cartes-sorts/dp/2703300670

The title of the book as correctly translated on US English Amazon.com
http://www.amazon.com/Divinatory-Tarot-Reading-Cards-Fates/dp/1904658059

"Tarot divinatoire" should be translated as "divinatory Tarot" and not
"Tarot"

It should be recognized that there is more than one Tarot tradition
and it's time for English speakers to stop being sheltered from the
fact that there is more than one Tarot.

The omission of the word "divinatory" in Google's translations
misleads people into believing there is only one Tarot tradition and
people assume that one tradition is the divinatory Tarot. The other
main tradition of Tarot, namely Tarot game playing, is implicitly
denied by the manner in which Google translates some French language
pages.
