The content of my last message somehow got corrupted, so I'll post
again:

I'm having problems with scalar functions in Query Language in Google
Visualization API. I'm using the SqlDataSourceHelper from the Data
Source Java Library and it works fine, except for scalar functions.

This query:
select xtime, page_views limit 200
gets translated to this SQL query:
SELECT * FROM mytable LIMIT 200

But this one:
select year(xtime), page_views limit 200
gets translated to this SQL query:
SELECT * FROM mytable
The year function is ignored and so is the limit clause.

Is my query syntax incorrect?
At the moment I'm working around this problem by using conditions like
xtime > date '2010-1-1 00:00:01', but I'd rather be able to use the
scalar functions for manipulationg dates.
