Hi Chris,

Using a proxy has always been an option... but the whole idea for me using
the google api is to get around having to have server side code. The website
I'm using is based on squarespace which don't allow any server side coding
at all... I do have other servers so I could have gone with the proxy
solution, but I think it is an unnecessary weak link in the retrieval of
data.

Right now using the removal of "pub" in url works, not an optimal solution..
but a good enough workaround until google can resolve this problem.
