Hi,

After trying the GWT gadget api and quickly being able to produce some
nice gadgets for iGoogle I thought it would be great if we could
develop Gadgets for the web, iGoogle and the Google Desktop right out
of GWT.
Has anyone tried if this is possible or are there any thoughts on this?
I imagined something like this:
You develop a specific component for a specific task - something like
a task list. You use this task list in in three different GWT
Projects, one would be the the standard GWT Project, one the iGoogle
Gadget Project and one the Desktop Gadget. The only difference in
development would be which class you have to extend or interface you
have to implement. When compiling the projects the according files
would be created.
Does this make any sense? Would it be possible right now? What would
have to be done so that this would work?

What are your thoughts on this?

Josef
