Hello all, I'm running GWT v2.0.4 (Eclipse plugin). My GWT application makes a number of calls to a databade implementation class, which in turn retrieves connections from a connection pool (DBCP provided by the Apacahe Commons project). The GWT application was working fine before my upgrade to 2.0.4 but now fails with the following:
2010-12-09 16:30:47,293 [btpool0-0] FATAL com.searchsystem.db.Pool - Unable to get a connection from Pool org.apache.commons.dbcp.SQLNestedException: Cannot get a connection, general error at org.apache.commons.dbcp.PoolingDataSource.getConnection(PoolingDataSource.java: 118) at com.searchsystem.db.Pool.getConnection(Pool.java:59) at com.searchsystem.db.MySQLImpl.fetchIPOwner(MySQLImpl.java:407) at com.searchsystem.db.MySQLImpl.fetchIPOwnersBySubscriptionId(MySQLImpl.java: 495) at com.searchsystem.gwt.server.MySQLConnection.fetchAllUnviewedInterimReports(MySQLConnection.java: 77) at sun.reflect.NativeMethodAccessorImpl.invoke0(Native Method) at sun.reflect.NativeMethodAccessorImpl.invoke(NativeMethodAccessorImpl.java: 57) at sun.reflect.DelegatingMethodAccessorImpl.invoke(DelegatingMethodAccessorImpl.java: 43) at java.lang.reflect.Method.invoke(Method.java:616) at com.google.gwt.user.server.rpc.RPC.invokeAndEncodeResponse(RPC.java: 562) at com.google.gwt.user.server.rpc.RemoteServiceServlet.processCall(RemoteServiceServlet.java: 188) at com.google.gwt.user.server.rpc.RemoteServiceServlet.processPost(RemoteServiceServlet.java: 224) at com.google.gwt.user.server.rpc.AbstractRemoteServiceServlet.doPost(AbstractRemoteServiceServlet.java: 62) at javax.servlet.http.HttpServlet.service(HttpServlet.java:637) at javax.servlet.http.HttpServlet.service(HttpServlet.java:717) at org.mortbay.jetty.servlet.ServletHolder.handle(ServletHolder.java: 487) at org.mortbay.jetty.servlet.ServletHandler.handle(ServletHandler.java: 362) at org.mortbay.jetty.security.SecurityHandler.handle(SecurityHandler.java: 216) at org.mortbay.jetty.servlet.SessionHandler.handle(SessionHandler.java: 181) at org.mortbay.jetty.handler.ContextHandler.handle(ContextHandler.java: 729) at org.mortbay.jetty.webapp.WebAppContext.handle(WebAppContext.java: 405) at org.mortbay.jetty.handler.HandlerWrapper.handle(HandlerWrapper.java: 152) at org.mortbay.jetty.handler.RequestLogHandler.handle(RequestLogHandler.java: 49) at org.mortbay.jetty.handler.HandlerWrapper.handle(HandlerWrapper.java: 152) at org.mortbay.jetty.Server.handle(Server.java:324) at org.mortbay.jetty.HttpConnection.handleRequest(HttpConnection.java: 505) at org.mortbay.jetty.HttpConnection $RequestHandler.content(HttpConnection.java:843) at org.mortbay.jetty.HttpParser.parseNext(HttpParser.java:647) at org.mortbay.jetty.HttpParser.parseAvailable(HttpParser.java:211) at org.mortbay.jetty.HttpConnection.handle(HttpConnection.java:380) at org.mortbay.io.nio.SelectChannelEndPoint.run(SelectChannelEndPoint.java: 395) at org.mortbay.thread.QueuedThreadPool $PoolThread.run(QueuedThreadPool.java:488) Caused by: java.lang.InterruptedException at java.lang.Object.wait(Native Method) at java.lang.Object.wait(Object.java:502) at org.apache.commons.pool.impl.GenericObjectPool.borrowObject(GenericObjectPool.java: 1104) at org.apache.commons.dbcp.PoolingDataSource.getConnection(PoolingDataSource.java: 106) Is it possible that the thread which is being interrupted is under the control of GWT? The reason I ask this is the last post found here: http://web.archiveorange.com/archive/v/YxxQ1hAxtTqavlnT6pj5 Any clues on how to resolve this? Alternatively, how to I downgrade to the previous Eclipse version of GWT? Thank you -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google Web Toolkit" group.
