Hi Sergey, I experimented with many many combinations, and eventually it appeared that it works. I am not 100% sure, because later I decided to use a different RegExp. and my knowledge of RegExp is basic.
when I tested x(?=y) in isolation it worked, but when I combined it with other parts of my RegExp, I was not getting the result I expected, therefore I suspected it must be due to my lack of understanding of RegExp. and I came up with another approach. (using RegExp alongside if/else and string.split) from Jim Douglas response I figured it must work, but I also would like some confirmation on whether the entire JavaScript RegExp is supported in GWT. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google Web Toolkit" group.
