it's an tree with 16k items (all administrative units of germany) - the main advantage to load all items is, i got a very fast live search on the tree. but as i said before i don't want to discuss this here. i ask how to get an loading overlay/progress bar that doesn't freeze on loading. i saw many of them in all the gwt/other framework's showcases. so how to use scheduler or something else to keep a loading icon moving and the browser responsive?
