GWT Designer not supporting custom binding properties leads to problems with mgwt.
The issue is open since Aug 11. Is this issue scheduled in any way? Maybe one could propose a patch that would fix this? Otherwise we would have to eliminate all deferred binding in gwt,xml files and move it into generators (which is not very nice) and remove all custom variables from css....
