Also, you're making the grammar of that sentence harder to understand
than necessary. I think the policy should be simple English as much as
possible, given that many non-native speakers will read it.
"If you opt-out to ongoing SMS messaging, ...." says the same thing.
Though it's more obvious that you're not really qualifying what one
would opt-in to. Which is my first comment.

available."
If that's the "opt-in" path, how would one determine "requested
communications"?
My point, to be more pointed:
You need two privacy policies, one for opt-in, for without.
Also, please word the policy in simple English, without negations and
stuff like that.
