Not to take this thread too far off course but a failure to convert clicks to install with Google play does seem to be a driver of the SMS discussion...and I'm curious. And, I'm all for improving the path to go from interest in Firefox to installed. You have a valid point that you do have to be signed in to Google. However, my experience has been that if you're logged into any Google service (GMail) you're logged in to all Google services including Play. When I get to the Play store in my desktop browser I simply click install. Does your response (above) mean that we have data that shows that people are clicking through to the Google Play store but then not clicking on install?
