Quoting https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=763007#c7 :
“…after discussing this with a number of MoCo people it does not
appear Mozilla has any interest in doing this due to the technical
requirements plus the importance of keeping the Mozilla brand intact.

I will be passing the information down to Ubuntu so they can mark
their item as declined by upstream.”

How does declining to refer Ubuntu users to the Ubuntu Software Centre
keep "the Mozilla brand intact" when the user experience is better
when getting Firefox as a distro-specific package, the distro-specific
package is already Firefox-branded and Mozilla seems to be OK with
referring people to Android Market?
