I am sure it has improved your data flow, but what you are saying here applies to the secure messaging area in spades as well, particularly for specialists.

I believe it will take some time before common systems evolve. You also mention MD, and despite all its issues, it's market predominance has allowed lots of things to take off that wouldn't have occurred in a more diverse market.

In many ways we are in the situation that pertained in the early days of the motor car, when each maker had completely different types and positions for controls for gear changes, braking, etc. Now all cars are the same, except for minor things like switch positions, etc.

Impatience is a real problem, however.
