PS: the intended outcome is to have a functional replacement for Pracsoft for my practice this month. I have chosen the design as a web app (or lets say browser platform app) rather than a traditional desktop app because booking appointments should be available both to patients themselves as well as to my staff by telecommuting (no point in my receptionists driving to work an hour earlier or staying an hour later just to answer phone calls - they can do that in their recliner at home, laptop on lap, while sipping a cocktail if they want. Web apps make that easier than remotely accessed desktop apps with currently available pathetic bandwidth.
