I haven't find a way to enhance the existing page (it's an html web page) I'm taking the liberty to post two remarks and one question. 1. "Is GPGTools the same as GPG Tools? No - sorry for the confusion. "GPG Tools" is an old unmaintained package already replaced by the also unmaintained package GPGFileTool" Please note that the correct name of the "old unmaintained package" is and has always been Gpg Tools. The author's web site no longer exists. It seems that for all useful purposes, Gpg Tools does not exist any longer, except in the memory of some old and unmaintained users. 2. "What if I have my own self-compiled version of GnuPG V1 or V2? No problem. MacGPG2 will be installed at /usr/lib/MacGPG2. Although, you might want to check the symlinks /usr/local/bin/gpg and /usr/local/bin/gpg2. Furthermore, MacGPG2 package installations older than 2.0.17 will be removed." Question: what is "older than 2.0.17"? The current stable release *is* 2.0.17. There exists, somewhere, a 2.1beta, and I suppose that in due time, it may become 2.1. Everything in its good time. 3. I very much appreciate the work that GPGTools' Team is doing. The GPGMail project is, in my opinion, remarkable and highly efficient, without excluding the other projects. I value that "May I install one package without the other? Yes. Although most of them require to have a working GnuPG installation, all projects are independent from each other." It is possible that not all GnuPG users want or need *all* GPGTools' packages, and I appreciate that GPGTools' Team gives users the capability of installing packages of her/his choice. Best luck, Charly _______________________________________________ gpgtools-users mailing list [email protected] FAQ: http://www.gpgtools.org/faq.html Changes: http://lists.gpgtools.org/mailman/listinfo/gpgtools-users Unsubscribe: http://lists.gpgtools.org/mailman/options/gpgtools-users/[email protected]?unsub=Unsubscribe&unsubconfirm=1 This email sent to: [email protected]
