Hi Rene, hi Elliott,

first off, great that it works for you now Elliott!
@Rene: could you check if you have to checkboxes checked in the GPGMail
preference pane.

second though, thanks for bringing this to our attention as both settings
should be enabled by default
i believe.

we'll have to look into this.
So if you didn't already, could you create a ticket for this?

Thanks for your help,

Lukas

Of course I want/can log a ticket but I want to make sure it is not a problem

Don't try too hard. I get the same problem. I've got the defaults write output
Lukas requested, so I'll log it (too).

Oops, Mine gives similar message, slightly different way of bringing it on.
Best we both log one.

Oops again!!
I am such a muppet! I was unable to decrypt messages. I had Mail's prefs set so
narrow I missed the GPGMail tab. In there "Reading: Enable OpenPGP/MIME was
unchecked."

Did the default get changed between 2.0a3 and 2.0a4?

I did have some unexpected output from Console and the suggested debug script,
so I'll try to get myself better organised and log that if appropriate
