--- Comment #22 from Jose Rojas <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> 2008-07-11 16:51:22 ---
Hi Jérome

After several days testing MTP transfers to my Creative Zen, i have some
suggestions:

1. Seems that gPodder doesn't verify the existance of previous transfers of the
same podcast episodies, so often i have 2 or more versions of the same file
(because frecuently don't remember if already transfer some episodies).
Would be good mark the episodies as 'already transferred' in gPodder.

In 'Settings' - Device Tab, there is an option "Only syncronize tracks that
haven't been played". This tracks should be transferred only once, am i wrong?

2. Sometimes, the transfer of files to the MTP device delay some seconds before
start. I thinks this is normal (i suppose) while gPodder connects to the
device, so i suggest a popup that notifies that (actually, the user can believe
that nothing is happening and gPodder is freezed)

3. May be would be good the possibility of apply an conversion shell script
(that fixes the bitrate, width and height of the videos for the Zen) before
transfer videocasts.. I already have the script, but i can't or i don't know
how apply it (i have seen the "file conversion script in Bluetooth tab, but it
doesn't work with MTP devices).

4. Would be nice the possibility of create playlists with latest episodies of
all podcasts, so the user can go directly to recently download content.

5. It's too hard to program any kind of "exploring MTP device" option?

I know probably i am asking too much but dreaming is free right? :)

Best regards,
José R. Rojas
