What about cases where the requested fmt_id is not available? Do we simply download the "best available" format then (which could even be HD) or the first available format starting with the given fmt_id (we already have a list of fmt_ids sorted by their quality/size)? The default setting for this preferred fmt_id should then probably be 18, as this is in line with Rex Tsai's comment in bug 576. What do you think of this solution?
