I tried it in gPodder here, and I could not reproduce the problem (although I have never downloaded episodes from this podcast, and it fetched metadata for every podcast) - maybe removing the podcast (+downloads) and re-adding it can help? Also, the RSS feed has <pubDate> items that have a wrong date format (the year is missing). I guess this could be the cause of the problem you are seeing.
